Sacramental Preparation

Sacrament of Reconciliation

St. Joseph’s Parish and St. Gregory School

Dear Parents,

A letter from our parish priest, Father Tony Barol, recently went home to inform you of the upcoming preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharist.

There will be a Parent Information Night to further explain the Sacramental Preparation Program and how you can continue to support your child’s faith development. The Parent Information Night will be held on October 13 at 7:00 at St. Joseph’s Parish.

There will be a total of four lessons (one per month) held after mass on certain Sundays as indicated on the chart below. Each session will run for 90 minutes. Mrs. Ruttan will be the catechist to facilitate the Sacramental Preparation Program with your child and the parish pastoral team will meet with the parents. The Sacramental Preparation Program is required for your child to understand the significance of the sacraments and to receive the sacraments this year.

Support Catholic Education(Posted:10/30/2017)

DID YOU KNOW?  Your school support defaults to English Public each time you move residences. You must re-declare yourself as English Separate.

By ensuring that you are accurately recorded as a Separate School Supporter, you will be able to cast a vote for Catholic trustees in the October 22, 2018 Municipal Election and you are helping to deliver a powerful message to the Ontario government about the level of support for publicly funded Catholic education in our province.
