In addition to the English curriculum, French as a second language programing is offered to students from Junior Kindergarten to grade 8.
Our staff is committed to assisting all students achieve and reach success. Teaching effectiveness is supported by active participation in professional development activities. Our staff's strong commitment to literacy and numeracy is reflected positively in St. Gregory's EQAO results.
The needs of all students are met through the dedication of classroom teachers working beside four educational assistants and a classroom resource teacher. It is through the effective partnership of these educators, and a strong belief in parent communication, that students of all abilities can be successful
Our teacher's strive to assure they are using technology effectively in their teaching, and it is through the aid of these tools that students, at St. Gregory School, are becoming 21stCentury learners.
It is also through this technology that teachers are more readily available to parents in sharing student successes.
Extra-Curricular Activities
It is through the dedication of our teachers and parents that students at St. Gregory learn the fundamentals of team play, trying their best and committing to an organization.
This accomplishment is through our work outside of the classroom in the areas of sports, such as basketball, volleyball, track and field and floor hockey, as well as non-athletic opportunities such as choir, student's council and drama.
It is our belief that when given the right opportunity every student can be successful. Our joy is providing these opportunities and watching our students grow in their success.
