At St. Gregory Catholic School you will find the teachings of Jesus Christ are integrated into the day-to-day curriculum and social fabric of school life. One of the pillars of our school community is that Jesus is present to us every day in each other.
We strive to assist our students to develop a way of living that embodies the teachings of Jesus Christ. These teachings are exemplified in our student's ability to:
-
Be discerning believers of our Catholic Faith and actively reflect God's word in their actions.
-
Be effective communicators who read, understand and use written materials effectively as well as write and speak fluently.
-
Be reflective, creative and holistic thinkers who create, adapt and evaluate new ideas in light of the common good.
-
Be self-directed, responsible, lifelong learners who demonstrate a confident and positive sense of self and a respect for the dignity of others.
-
Be collaborative contributors who respect the rights, responsibilities and contributions of both themselves and others.
-
Be caring family members who relate to family members in a loving, compassionate and respectful manner.
-
Be responsible citizens who contribute to the common good.
Our Catholic faith teachings are evident, as one immediately enters our school foyer and chapel area where students are able to attend mass monthly. In addition, and our school is open to our local faith community, who are invited to join us for this celebration, once a month for the celebration of mass. Not only do our students lead us in prayer and insight but our school choir is a integral contributor to our liturgies and masses.
